Beale Air Force Base is The Air Force's High-Altitude ISR (intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance) Wing providing decision advantage and combat power worldwide to meet the Nation's call, and building ISR professionals to lead into the future. Beale’s mission includes U-2 Dragon Lady, The RQ-4 Global Hawk, ground based ISR, and the PAVE PAWS radar system among others. The Beale Air Force Base Mission, past, and future will be discussed, along with the civil engineering challenges and opportunities in the local base environment.
