Nurture ​your ​passion! ​ ​Samba ​Meets ​Jazz ​will ​offer ​a ​unique ​tap ​dance ​program ​as ​part ​of ​our ​Bar ​Harbor ​program! ​ ​ ​Working ​with ​acclaimed ​NY-based ​Brazilian ​tap ​dancer ​Felipe ​Galganni ​and ​SMJ's ​ ​world-class ​music ​faculty, ​you'll ​not ​only ​have ​a ​blast, ​you'll ​go ​home ​with ​new ​skills ​and ​new ​insights ​-- ​not ​to ​mention ​new ​friends. ​ ​ ​ ​

Virtuoso ​bassist ​/Artistic ​Director ​Nilson ​Matta, ​who’s ​played ​with ​everyone ​from ​Joåo ​Gilberto ​to ​Yo ​Yo ​Ma” ​(Downbeat), ​has ​put ​together ​a ​who’s ​who ​faculty ​of ​Brazilian, ​Jazz ​and ​Latin ​Jazz ​musicians. ​ ​Felipe ​will ​be ​a ​fantastic ​addition! ​
