* Each participant will have the opportunity to perform and assist in at least two surgeries with up to 2 implants placements utilizing Osseodensification clinical procedures under direct guidance and supervision.

• How can we preserve bone, plastically expand it, and enhance its strength in a controlled method.
• The effect of Osseodensification on implant total stability development for early and immediate loading.
• Risk assessment and avoiding complication.
• How to bill adequately for Osseodensification procedures.
Day 1 (Thursday, July 18th):
Half Day Didactic Scientific learning with Hands-On Training utilizing actual bone specimen and clinical simulation models as well as Treatment Planning next day surgeries.

Charles Schwimer, DMD
Maintains a full-time private practice in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA limited to periodontics and implants, specializing in biologically based preservation and he received fhis BS degree in Psychology and later received his DMD at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1985. Dr. Schwimer received his speciality certification in Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania and his Branemark implant certification from the TIP training center at Columbia University in 1987. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology since 1993 and a Clinical Professor of Periodontics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Most recently Dr. Schwimer focuses upon the clinical advancement of Partial Extraction Therapies and Osseodensification. Dr Schwimer is the creator and owner of SPoT™ / Site Preservation of Tissue
Dr. Ann Marie (“Marnie”) Hofbauer grew up in the small Midwestern community of Trenton, lllinois. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of lllinois Urbana-Champaign in 1990. While there, she was active in Alpha Chi Omega. Her Doctor of Dental Medicine was completed in 1994 at Southern lllinois University School of Dental Medicine where she was a member of Delta Sigma Delta. She received numerous awards including the Outstanding Clinical Research Award. ln 1997, she completed specialty training in Periodontics from the University of lllinois in Chicago.
Committed to volunteering her periodontal skills, Dr. Hofbauer has served local and international organizations, such as Mission of Mercy, Love, Inc., OASIS, the Dominican Republic volunteer dentistry program and St. Basil’s Free Dental Clinic in Chicago.
Dr. Hofbauer is happily married and the mother of two active teen-age sons and the sweetest dog in the world.
