You will spend two days “on the road” and in the field learning about the lifestyle of individuals and families in rural Idaho and agribusiness, as well as the role that state and federal agency government plays in the industry. "On the Road" Workshops address current agricultural issues and include fun, food, hands-on activities, and a wealth of materials you can use in your classroom resource library for teachers of Pre-K - 12th.
Teachers can take more than one AITC workshop every summer and receive one graduate credit per workshop. In this case, teachers must register and pay each time for workshop and credit, and must submit a different assignment for each workshop in order to receive credit. One graduate credit is available from University of Idaho ($60) or Northwest Nazarene University ($60).
Please complete and return the attached form or register online at www.idahoaitc.org. Total payment must accompany registration to guarantee a position. Prior to each of the workshops, paid participants will be notified by letter regarding details of their workshop.
