If you registered through Regonline for past CGS field trips, your email and password are still in the system. If you have forgotten your password you will need to retrieve it or change it. You can always start a new registration with a different email or the same email from the previous year by choosing “Start a New Registration”. Google Chrome browser appears to work best for registration.
Registration Fee: The main registration fee covers the Friday night buffet dinner, as well as Saturday bus transportation, lunch, and snack breaks. A separate registration fee covers Sunday bus transportation. Transportation for both field trip days will be by chartered buses. Because of limited parking, no other vehicles will be permitted to transport participants on either day, and space on buses will be limited. Both day’s trips will depart and end at the Headquarters hotel.
Reception Buffet: As in recent previous years, we are doing something different instead of a formal banquet! Please join us for a fully catered Reception Buffet on Friday, October 5, 7–10 pm, at the Headquarters hotel. Please note there is no separate charge for this event - the cost has already been included in your meeting registration. Have a chance to renew old acquaintances, and see photographs from previous CGS fieldtrips.
Annual Business Meeting and Field Trip Introduction: A brief business meeting will be held Friday night during the Welcome Buffet and will include reports by the Secretary-Treasurer, ratification of reports by the membership, report of the Nominating Committee, and election of officers. The business meeting will be immediately followed by a short Powerpoint presentation outlining the local geology and field stops that will be visited during the next two days. All field trip attendees are encouraged and should attend this event.
