This two-day course will prepare you to apply the SAFe® to synchronize alignment, collaboration, and delivery from Portfolio to Program to Team levels. Participants will develop an understanding of how the principles and practices of the framework support Lean, Agile, the Agile Release Train (ART), portfolio management, Agile architecture, and scaling Agile processes and practices across the enterprise. This Leading SAFe® course is a prerequisite for obtaining the SAFe® Agilist (SA) Certification.
To earn your SAFe® Agilist certificate you are required to complete the 2 day Leading SAFe® 4.6 Course from an Authorized Scaled Agile Trainer and pass the online SAFe® Agilist exam.
Although 5+ years’ experience in software development, testing, business analysis, product, or project management and experience in Scrum is highly recommended, there are no required prerequisites to participate in the Leading SAFe® Course.

Attendees who pass the exam will receive:
A SAFe® Agilist certificate
One year certified membership as a SAFe® Agilist
The SAFe® Agilist exam is administered web-based (single-browser), closed book, no outside assistance, timed.
An email which includes exam details will be sent 24-48 hours after class concludes, once the trainer registered you with the Scaled Agile Academy.
You have 30 day access to take the exam.
Once the exam begins, candidates have 90 minutes (1.5 hours) to complete the exam.
The exam is in multiple choice format of 45 questions. You must get at least 34 correct (76% passing score).
First exam attempt is included as part of the course registration fee if the exam is taken within 30 days of course completion. Each retake attempt costs $50.
Second attempt on exam (first retake) can be done immediately after first attempt. Third attempt requires a 10-day wait. Fourth attempt requires a 30-day wait.
