Discuss the 3 P’s of planning affordable menus as well as recipes that will “expand your dollar” and foods. We will review CACFP meal patterns. We will also be cooking Macaroni and Cheese with a “twist.”
In this workshop, participants will: a) be able to translate budget techniques and new meal pattern knowledge into their weekly menu planning, b) be able to demonstrate their new knowledge at meal-time reviews with monitor, monthly food and attendance claimed reports, c) be able to prepare new healthy recipes for their children. This workshop is geared towards programs currently enrolled in the CACFP program.
