The Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) provider course is designed to train healthcare professionals in managing patients with acute cardiac illnesses using the most current methods available. Information will be reviewed and practice time will be made available to enhance proficiency in the following modalities:
Course Completion Requirements To receive a course completion card, the student must • attend and participate in the entire course, • demonstrate proficiency in CPR skills, pass required skills tests, and • pass required written tests. This is a one-day course.

You are required to have the current textbook for this course. If you already own one or have access to one before, during, and after the class, you do not need to purchase one during registration. All students must complete the mandatory online pretest or admission to the program will be denied. Pretest information is found in the required textbook.
All students must provide a copy of a current healthcare provider CPR card (BLS) for admission into this course. Students who do not have current BLS certification will not be permitted to attend the course.
