Marketing and Social Media Symposium presented by Western Slope Rural Philanthropy Days
The Western Slope Symposium Series is sponsored by the Western Slope Rural Philanthropy Days (WSRPD) Interim Committee, a coalition of regional nonprofit leaders who have joined together to bring nonprofit education opportunities to the region. This one-day symposium hosted in Pitkin County is the third in a series of five symposiums that will take place in the Western Slope region, which includes Delta, Eagle, Garfield, Mesa and Pitkin counties.
The Marketing and Social Media Symposium will provide an opportunity for service providers to network, share and collaborate around various elements and best practices around marketing, communications, branding, social media and digital media tools.
Choose two of four half day workshops offered and learn tangible skills for planning, implementing and analyzing social media and branding strategies. With varying levels of content, we hope that there will be something for everybody, whether you are a new nonprofit looking to establish your organization's brand and become familiar with social media platforms or are an existing nonprofit looking to re-brand or broaden and amplify your social media reach. All sessions will provide the opportunity for hands-on work. It is suggested you bring your laptops and access to any existing social/digital media accounts you might have.
